Brian Lewis Open Studio

We looked at the work of Sheringham artist, Brian Lewis, when we were finding put about artists. His studio is open to the public on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th May. Click here for directions or visit his website here.

African sculptures

As part of our work on 'Art from other Cultures' we looked at African sculptures made from wood and metal. We made our own using pipe cleaners, aluminum foil and crepe paper. Here are some of them:

Pavement artwork

I hav found this amazing artwork done by Julian Beever on street pavements. They look so life like when viewed from the correct angle (shown in most of the photos). However in order to create the 3D effect they are actually drawn very differently on the pavement (see the photos of the globe to really understand the effect).
